As part of National Heritage Board (NHB)’s Children’s Season 2023, the Eurasian Heritage Gallery (EHG) organised three tour programmes:

Singapore Heritage Festival - EHG Tour - "For Love of the Game: Sporting Eurasians" on 21 May, and the ‘Just ROLE with it! Be a Chef’ and ‘Just ROLE with it! Be an Actor’ on 27 May and 3 June.

On 21 May, participants learnt about Eurasian athletes who represented our nation, such as Olympians Lloyd Valberg, Mary Klass, Douglas Nonis, Singapore’s first Olympic Champion Joseph Schooling, and more.

At the ‘Be a Chef’ workshop, the little chefs were taken on a Gallery tour by docents Cecilia Martin and Isabelle Stables, before diving into the kitchen, where they learnt to create mouthwatering corned beef cutlets at the cooking workshop conducted by Chef Kenneth Francisco.

At the ‘Be an Actor’ workshop, the kids first explored Singapore's theatre history at the EHG, guided by docents Ramesh Shahdadpuri and Isabelle Stables, then honed their drama skills in an acting workshop conducted by LaSalle undergraduate Tejas Hirah.
